FSCPH’23 will be held at Roskilde Congress Center, on Thursday 4th May 2023

FSCPH’23 gives you as a participant a day full of inspiration, information, networking opportunities and tools that can definitely be used in future work!

The purpose and main topic of FSCPH’23 is Functional Safety.
Leading companies from home and abroad, with expertise in Functional Safety, have come together with the simple goal of having machine- and process safety in focus.

There will be presentations of common interest as well as specific sessions that go in depth with the topics that are currently moving in the industry.
The presentations will take place in Danish and English.

Konferencier, Functional Safety Copenhagen (FSCPH)

Regnar Schultz blev for 25 år siden ansat hos Dansk Standard, hvor han fik en række internationale poster bl.a. som formand for den europæiske komite for proces og automation med hovedsæde i Bruxelles, samt varetagelse af Functional Safety i den rådgivende forsamling hos IEC i Geneve (International Electrotecnical Commission), hvor han deltog aktivt i udarbejdelsen af standarderne IEC 61508 og IEC 61511.

Mikael er TÜV Rheinland certificeret Functional Safety Ekspert SIS og Functional Safety Engineer PH&RA. Han har mere end 30 års erfaring fra olie & gas, farma og kemiindustrien.

Enhancing Functional Safety Analysis & Assurance using Bowties.

The benefits of bowties & barrier management following the Functional Safety lifecycle with particular focus on Cyber Security (per Clause 8.2.4 of 61511-1) and LOPA (per Annex F of 61511-3). Visualizing scenarios in bowtie format helps all stakeholders understand the context and criticality of both SIS and non-SIS risk reduction measures to ensure their presence & performance is sustained.

David Hatch
Functional Safety Specialist, Wolters Kluwer Enablon

David Hatch is a Chemical & Process Engineer, IChemE Fellow and Professional Process Safety Engineer with over 35 years’ experience of high hazard facilities across a variety of industries. He is a Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) and a TÜV Functional Safety Engineer (FSEng) specializing in Bowtie Analysis and Barrier Management with a particular focus on LOPA and scenario risk quantification.

Thomas arbejder inden for grøn omstilling herunder fjernvarme, biomasse samt forbrændingsanlæg samt varmeakkumulering. Han har 18 års erfaring med Functional Safety livscyklussen fra tidlig design fase til installation / commissioning samt drift og vedligehold.

Tomas har 20 års erfaring fra gasindustrien samt 11 års erfaring som Process Risk Manager for Air Liquide. Han arbejder nu for Eltronic Fueltech som Process Risk Expert med risikovurderinger af PtX systemer samt alternative brændstof systemer for skibe.

SIS commissioning of the Baltic Pipe Gas Compressor Station
Station Everdrup. The project was forced into an extreme race with the time schedule, caused by the war in Ukraine and the extreme focus of energy need in Eastern Europe. The presentation will show some of the “real world” challenges and solutions found during the project, and how Energinet deals with high safety ethics and Functional Safety. Stefan will also share some of his thoughts about mobilizing completely new operation staff and establishing the systems to operate the functional safety in the future.

Stefan Lynge Christensen
Senior Engineer - Technology Development, Energinet

Stefan is process and safety engineer with comprehensive experience of Functional Safety from many large energy projects globally. He currently possesses the role of commissioning engineer of the 10 BCM capacity natural gas compressor-station for the Baltic Pipe Line From Norway, Denmark to Poland. He is certified from TÜV and IChemE and experienced from on-site operation experience as well as design and specification in engineering consultancy.

    • Purchases made by private individuals can be canceled no later than 14 days after receipt of order confirmation / invoice.
      Cancellations received after this will not be entitled to a refund.
